PartyCasino review:
entain's heavyweight, half a measurement on record
PartyCasino is the odd one out in our Canadian table. The other five brands are Microgaming-family sisters; this one descends from the Party group of the late-1990s poker boom and now sits inside Entain, one of the largest gambling companies on any stock exchange. For Canadian purposes the relevant line is the same as everyone else's: it appears on the Kahnawake Gaming Commission permit-holders list and serves players outside Ontario, which operates its own iGaming Ontario framework.
It is also the only casino in this set our node got a partial measurement from. The mobile lobby at partycasino.com transferred 4.8 MB to us, a real recorded figure, but our timed runs did not complete cleanly, so no load time is printed. Half a measurement, published as half a measurement. The rest of the data, live from the app stores, is unusually complete.

A different family tree
Because PartyCasino is not a Games Global sister site, its lobby draws on a broader mix of studios than the Microgaming-heritage brands it shares our table with, alongside a slate of Party-branded exclusives the group has maintained for years. If you have bounced between JackpotCity, Royal Vegas and Spin Casino and found the same shelves in each, this is the one catalogue in the set that actually reads differently. In keeping with house policy we print no game count; totals are operator marketing, and nobody audits them.
On a phone the lobby is organised around category rows and a search field, with games launching full-screen, and the 4.8 MB our node measured on the games page is a moderate figure for the genre; we have recorded casino lobbies above 9 MB in our US set. Page weight is the quiet number that decides how a site feels on a weak signal, and it is one of the two numbers this site was built to publish.
A big app, half a measurement
The apps are well liked and heavy. Apple users rate PartyCasino 4.6 and Google Play users 4.7, both figures pulled live at every rebuild of this page, and those are strong scores for a gambling app. The download, though, is 162.8 MB, nearly four times JackpotCity's 44.9 MB, and the floor is iOS 16.0, which rules out iPhones older than the 8. On a new phone with room to spare, none of that matters. On a 64 GB handset juggling photos, it is a real decision, and the 4.8 MB browser lobby is the obvious alternative.
Our own timing attempt is the honest asterisk. The node was not geo-blocked, it reached the games lobby directly and recorded the page weight, but the three throttled-4G runs never completed to a stable, timeable render, so the load-time cell stays empty. We publish the weight because we recorded it and no time because we did not. Whatever caused the failed runs, printing a fabricated seconds figure would have been the worse outcome.
Banking from a Canadian account
PartyCasino's cashier meets Canadian players where they bank. Interac e-Transfer does the heavy lifting, sending deposits from your own bank login without a card number entering the site, and the account operates in Canadian dollars, so no conversion fee shaves the balance in either direction. Cards and mainstream e-wallets are supported, and Apple Pay or Google Pay function wherever the cashier takes the card behind them. Entain's scale also tends to mean formal, documented cashier processes rather than improvised ones, though scale is a structural observation, not a speed guarantee.
Speed guarantees are exactly what we refuse to fake. We have not measured PartyCasino's payout behaviour, so no minimum deposit, fee or processing-time figure appears in this review. The general Kahnawake-licensed pattern applies: an internal review window before release, then the rail's own pace, with e-Transfer usually first home once released and first withdrawals slowed by identity checks. Do the verification paperwork before you need a payout and most of the folklore stops mattering.
What we actually ran
Same rig as every review on this site: Chromium over a throttled 4G profile on our measurement node, three timed lobby runs with page weight logged beside render time, and app-store metadata pulled live from Apple and Google at each rebuild. PartyCasino produced our only split result in the Canadian set, a recorded 4.8 MB page weight next to timed runs that would not complete, and the table shows precisely that split. A number we recorded, a blank we earned, and nothing invented between them.
Where it stands
+ For
- On the Kahnawake permit-holders list, checkable against the register
- Strong live app ratings: 4.6 on iOS, 4.7 on Google Play
- Only casino in our Canadian set with a recorded page weight, 4.8 MB
- Catalogue genuinely differs from the Microgaming-family alternatives
- Interac e-Transfer supported, accounts in C$, Entain-scale operation
− Against
- 162.8 MB app download, the heaviest in our Canadian table
- iOS 16.0 minimum shuts out iPhones older than the 8
- No lobby load time: our timed runs failed to complete, so none is printed
- Outside Ontario only under this permit; not an iGaming Ontario listing
PartyCasino brings the most evidence to our Canadian table: live ratings above 4.5 on both stores, a recorded 4.8 MB lobby weight, a verifiable Kahnawake permit entry, and a catalogue that is not a rebadge of its neighbours. It is also the heaviest install on the page by a wide margin.
The sensible reading of the data: phone with storage and iOS 16 or better, take the app; older or fuller phone, the browser lobby at a moderate 4.8 MB is the same casino without the 162.8 MB entry fee. When our timed runs complete from a Canadian node, the last blank on this page fills itself.

Frequently asked questions
How much storage does the PartyCasino app need?
The iOS download is 162.8 MB, the largest of the Canadian-facing casinos we track and nearly four times the size of JackpotCity's app, with a minimum of iOS 16.0, so iPhones older than the 8 cannot install it. The figure is pulled live from Apple's storefront at every rebuild. The browser lobby, which our node measured at 4.8 MB transferred, needs no install at all.
Is PartyCasino licensed to serve players in Canada?
PartyCasino appears on the Kahnawake Gaming Commission permit-holders list, which the Commission publishes for anyone to check, and that permit covers Canadians outside Ontario. Ontario runs a separate registration system through iGaming Ontario and the AGCO. No offshore brand is licensed by a federal Canadian body, because no such licence exists; the register check is the meaningful one.
What did this site actually measure at PartyCasino?
Three things came back solid: a 4.6 rating on the App Store, a 4.7 on Google Play, and a 4.8 MB transfer when our node loaded the mobile games lobby. One thing did not: our throttled-4G timed runs never completed to a stable render, so we publish no load time. Store data refreshes automatically at every rebuild of the page.
